Family Strengthening Program
The Family Strengthening Program was the original Impact program and continues to be the centerpiece of IMPACT. While we have grown in the number of services we provide, the number of programs offered, and the number of clients we serve, IMPACT continues to function solely to exert a positive and significant impact on families in the community
The Family Strengthening Program is designed to work with youth offenders, ages 12 to 18 and their family members. The services are offered to the entire family. Our primary purpose is to provide family members the necessary information and skills to enable them to have healthy family relationships.
IMPACT Family Counseling is committed to families; we wholeheartedly agree with what the U.S. Department of Justice says, namely, "Delinquency can be effectively reduced by interventions with school-age children that work with families of first time youthful offenders to decrease domestic dysfunction." IMPACT believes that it can successfully redirect negative youth behavior with appropriate intervention and modification.
